2025 Recruiting - Softball

Not sure how successful the camp was at bringing in elite players to visit the campus. Jaley James is a 2025 but not sure she’s on Texas's recruiting radar. Again only post I found from the camp.

Must be a camp this weekend May 4 & 5th. This is the one we've been waiting for!
Hope to hear some good news on attendees!

Harlie Chism, a SS/MIF from Weatherford, OK. I'm pretty sure she is on our offer list. I love her showing the Longhorn mail up front!

What a total S**t show Extra Innings SB has made of their 2025 final top 100 listing!! They are even admitting they made mistakes in the rankings and blaming it on data information errors! There are players not listed in the top 100 that should be in the top 10 and players listed that are not close to being top 100 players!!!!
Their reason is:

"Being honest and vulnerable here, there were a handful of players—even including some that were previously in the Top 10 or Top 20—that were inaccurately assigned a wrong “Final” number based on the error with sorting the data and were left out.
To give an example, there was a highly-ranked top 10 caliber player in the last 2025 class update (in 2022) that fell out of the top 100 completely, undeservedly and unintentionally.
I feel awful that some worthy candidates, whose coaches did everything right, got lost in the process and are hurting emotionally for it."
"I am truly sorry for the hurt these glitches have caused"

EIS has lost total credibility with the softball world in my eyes.
If you were a player on the list and if you read the article of their admission of guilt I would feel like they are saying, I'm sorry but this ranking is all wrong and we admit it so please forgive us! Much of the softball world, and especially those parents and players not in the rankings that should be are up in arms.
This is a great example of how important these rankings are to the players and their parents. Fortunately the college Coaches are much more informed of the player capabilities at this point in the recruiting process! No excuse for Extra Innings other than sloppy and LAZY reporting! Please read the article it is groveling at it's best!

Tweets from the Elite Softball camp held Aug 19-20. This is a tweet from 2026 Mia Clemmer but standing with her is 2025 Hannah Wells. I feel pretty certain she will be Coach White's commitment for pitcher this recruiting cycle. And Mia Clemmer is Hannah's catcher at Coahoma HS and her travel club. She will get an offer in 2026.

These are tweets from some of the 2025's at the by invitation only Elite camp. Pretty sure some will get offers coming up this Sept. 1. When they say in there tweet "it was an amazing camp" pretty sure they want to come to Texas if the offer comes!

Found a couple more 2025's that attended the Elite camp. Not sure how to take it if some of the top ranked players didn't attend the camp? Hope they just had a conflict and will make a recruiting visit with parents during a Football game.

First contact for the 2025 is tonight at midnight. Excited to see who we go after. Should be a large class number wise based on 2024.

Big Names to look out for: Elsa Morrison, Hannah Wells, Alissa Sneed, Khamari Hall, Keira Crosby, Libby Jaques, MaTaia Lawson, Kendall Wells, Caigan Crabtree, Kinsley Keller.

OU just added the #1 ranked player (according to Extra Innings) to the class to in Lexi Mcdaniels. Very good infielder with a strong stick.

The class of 4 they have in the 2025 class is pretty stout. Looks like they will have the strongest class this year unless someone pulls a similar coup. Bordia a very good two way player but I agree she is a good pitcher but not the best out there, but she is a total package type of kid. Kendall Wells can flat out HIT. Decent behind the plate but her offense sets her apart. Alyssa Parker a local kid that I've heard was decent but not special.

Of course they did. So strong is the brand that they just scoop up the top 15 players and use them to overrecruit the previous years' top 15 players already on the roster.

No real silver linings, except the transfer portal means we (others) get their overrecruited players. But then, they pick up transfer players to overrecruit once again! Nothing will change for us until Patti decides she's won enough NCs.

You know, Mike White used to be a hot draw on the recruiting circuit. That seems to have cooled off. Thoughts?

Between ou in Softball and LSU in basketball, Texas seems to be hemmed in on the national front. Coaches have got to step up to break one or both.

Playing to get #1's rejects is never a formula for success.

Obviously Alissa Sneed and Khamari Hall were not at the Wyoming game last night. Alissa Sneed At Houston?? A big step down for her talent!

NB I’m in agreement with your list of hopefuls but I would add Harley Chism, Berkley Zache & Gianna Ioja as possible offers. And this is really based on the interaction of Coach Singleton with them on Twitter. I am really hoping that Hannah Wells and Elsa Morrison were Coach White’s last 2 Hook’em posts and have committed! I noticed that Elsa Morrison has deleted her Twitter account? Strange? Libby Jacques and Kendall Wells have committed to other schools so that leaves 8 names on your list. This may be a 6 person class? Look forward to hearing commitment announcements and soon!
:yippee:

An article from Dugout Chatter on Aundrea (Drea) Wilson. She is a 3b and middle infielder. Could not find her ranked in any softball recruiting services. Appears she had torn her ACL and Meniscus this year and did not play fall travel ball.
Coaches must think she has a lot of potential!
The Final Pitch (July 24, 2023): Spotlighting Texas Glory-Naudin Prospect Aundrea Wilson, Upcoming Tourneys, TC All-Tournament, AGL Live Streams, New Commit, ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ & Barbenheimer Box Office | Dugout Chatter

We got a good one here! First of the class!

Caigan is solid, but she is not at the top of the food chain and not elite. Good solid addition but not head turning by any means. Wilson kid a better player but even she is not top of class talent. Honestly not excited with any additions so far. The best of the rest (non-OU commits): Alisa Sneed Utility (Riptide), Mallie West Pitcher (Hotshots), Elsa Moririson Catcher (Bombers), Khamari Hall (Riptide), Hannah Wells (Ok Athletics), the Addison Linton kid (pitcher) throws hard and is freakishly built but heard gets hit hard, Ana Roman outfield (Unity), Addison Shephard Infield (Impact Gold), Dana Munoz (Corona Angels), Taelyn Holley (Mercado), KG Favors Pitcher (Impact Gold) and Presley Harrison Pitcher (was Bombers--think Unity now).

Yes, she was out with injury, but the kid can play. Athletic, decent bat and versatile. Just not elite, or in very top of class.
