Exactly right. There are degrees of bad outcomes. One gets outscored or simply runs out of time while playing well. One, a team gets beaten by a better team. One, errors pile up to a point and one gets beaten by a lesser team. See Alabama v Vandy this year. Another is to get snot clobbered and out classed. See OU in 2022. But the worst of all, the most egregious to a recruit, one hangs on for awhile, the first break goes against them and they lay down and quit. That is something no player wants to be a part of. See OU 2024.

Remember ye this—the OL is a unit. At no other position should the recruit consider the position coach as much as at OL.

And Flood is a proven A+ OL position coach.

I bet there were some discussions among those OU recruits about checking out/visiting Texas.

One game isn't going to make a differance. Otherwise we wouldnt have gotten any recruits after the sooners laid a pair of 60+ point games on us back when.

The only 25' that was pertinent was Fausi. He has had zero contact with our staff since he committed.
We are in good shape with the 26's and 27'"s that were there.
