2024 Recruiting - Football

Unless they change the NIL rules and also the transfer portal rules, we better recruit like new every year. I saw an article indicating the desire to force a year sit out on the transfer to help stabilize these rosters. Not sure what the answer is but whats happening now is not it.
 
WOW! Thank you for helping me feel older. The first of the grandchildren of the "J" crowd of Angelina County. Three kids, three scholarships from P5 schools, three starters at those schools. Now, the next generation.

I hope we get this kid cause he has a wide head.
So since he has a wide head then maybe he has more brains.
If he has more brains then maybe he is smarter.
If he is smarter then maybe he makes better decisions.
If he makes better decisions then we win games and championships.
This is what i'm thinking.

Will be tough to get west coast talent if visor boy is in the picture. He is obviously a good recruiter so Texas better have a better showing on the field this year to help balance that. If we just had a D last year then this is a whole different discussion!!!

Since we already offered Finley's kid shouldn't we start a 2026 thread? I mean, we already have 2040 thread going so....
