Trump has adopted a Mike Leach offensive scheme?I think Trump is trying to expand the field of play so Dems don’t know which states to concentrate their cheating, or at least dilute the effort over more states.
If it’s an appeal either way, better to have the judge making reversible errors along the way.Makes no difference as he will be found guilty on all charges (this is NYC). He had better have experienced appeals lawyers on speed dial.

But will New York appellate courts dominated by partisan Democrats who don't want to lose their political careers find a way to make those reversible errors not so reversible and not so erroneous?
The NY appellates have been fair to Trump so far.
Whatever happens in NY the SCOTUS will not tolerate this
Because they reduced the bond in the civil case?
They have to have a federal issue to intervene.

The judge in the criminal case is pushing it on the unanimity requirement. Could it invite federal review? Maybe.
Yes he would be the candidate and one could argue the optics would be worse for Biden. So if Trump is convicted and sentenced to a prison term, is he still the GOP candidate? I would think yes he will be.
Would he win against Biden running from a jail cell or on probation? Maybe, maybe not. The optics are horrendous.
