Yes, and ironically just the opposite is true. Studies show Republicans give both time and $ at 3x the rate of democrats.

Now these ordinary voters might define policy different from you. They probably see " policy" as Trump's many decisions that made life better for them.

It's what they're saying now. Wait until the media starts making a big deal out of the indictments and the sexual abuse finding. Some will still care about policy, but enough won't.

The solid partisans vote on social issues, but swing voters who actually decide elections really don't. They vote on whom they like and who makes them feel good.

People as you pointed out vote on who makes them feel good.
We are seeing and hearing from typical Dems who remember how good they felt when Trump was POTUS. Their situations won't improve by Nov . Only Demx women pretend to believe Trump forced Carroll into a Bergdorf dressing room in middle of the day.
I think people will vote what is close to them, their everyday lives.
 
Fox News has Trump up in Michigan over Biden and a bigger lead when looking at the 5 person race. It’s over.
