Yes - Kiffin does a great job picking up portal talent. Molding those into a consistent team culture and cranking out W’s with that talent, not so much.

And most of them are on the offensive side. Looks like the uncertainty about retooling the offense under a new coordinator is a big factor. They will need to get busy picking the portal for replacements.

We'll see our number dramatically increase if we lose to Clemson. Otherwise, it'll be a bunch of no-shows for spring practice and then a big number will hit between 4/16 and 4/25. This is the new reality, and my guess is that we'll have a number similar to A&M and OU when all is said and done. Probably 15-ish more.

You know its almost laughable all these players switching teams except it aint.

I believe that would be a first. I don't think there has ever been a player from Bixby on a Longhorn team. I thought Jim Ross & Cowboy Bill Watt had that town locked down. Maybe Venables revoked Ross' sideline pass.

My uncle (the real Skandor Akbar) was friends with both Watts and Ross. Ross came to his funeral. Very nice man.
