2023 Recruiting - Football

IT said the communication with DL Hunter Osborne of Trussville, AL has slowed to the point that the Texas coaches aren't expected to push going forward.

Even if Alabama isn't willing to let him in their class, he'd likely pick Tennessee over Texas.

DL Peter Woods of Alabaster, AL chose Clemson over Alabama, so we'll see if Saban wants Osborne now.

Peter Woods, Thompson, Defensive Line

"Not gettin errbody" is a lot better than "not gettin nobody"
Literally, “NOT gettin’ nobody” actually means that we ARE getting somebody, i.e. not a complete loss. Ranks right up there with “I could care less” meaning that you do care somewhat.

You can get a lot of little Winner stickers that you can show your friends.
Who knows maybe someone else can misspell a common word here and you can achieve nirvana.
Keep up the good work.

I apologize. There should have been a common after “i.e.” It’s a cliche-free day for me.

A common… dare say a common what?
Oh - I think you meant a comma.

The irony. Pride cometh before a fall, my friend.

Headed to the tattletale forum now myself to pick up my sticker.

Thanks! I will move it there! Always seeking nirvana. I will become one with the English textbook. I appreciate your kind words.

Irony can be pretty ironic at times. Tell the teacher that I said you deserve two stickers AND a selection from the toy box. Well done my friend, well done!

Perfect. Welcome here my friend.

Truth be told, this is the only forum on the inter-webs that I post to and I am one to consistently use Brad grammar and misspell words.

I use text to speech a lot, note the Brad above when I actually said bad. So I’m one to provide a target rich environment for poorly written posts

On CB Malik Muhammad of Dallas South Oak Cliff...IT saying they're no longer on commitment watch as he appears to be content letting the month of July play out and he could take another trip to Austin, College Station or even Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is still in the race.

Malik Muhammad, South Oak Cliff, Cornerback

Thought that the evil Spellcheck was responsible for the Brad error. I really wrote comma on mine, but Spellcheck changed it. Posts were all in fun!

An interesting note on WR recruiting, per IT.

They're reporting the staff won't be taking both Jalen Hale and Mikal Harrison-Pilot, and it will be the first guy to hop in the boat despite them having different skillsets.

As things stand, Hale will be making a decision before Harrison-Pilot.

Jalen Hale, Longview, Wide Receiver

Mikal Harrison-Pilot, Temple, Safety

I would be content with either. I tend to lean towards Harrison-Pilot because I think we need a couple of more studs on defense in this class.
