Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!!!

Seems like this is turning into a orange tidal wave. Not sure about the star ratings, but these guys are monsters and ginormous.

On Cojoe. Here's a bit on his scouting report.

"With his 6-foot-6 frame, 84.25 inch wingspan, and good movement ability Cojoe already has a pretty high physical ceiling, but when you consider that he will be an early enrollee at the next level and will start college as a 16 year old the ceiling gets that much higher.
Cojoe is already extremely mentally mature for his age and with a full year in a college strength and conditioning program before he even turns 18 his physical gains will likely considerably improve. "

I suspect we are getting no less than 4* this class except for the 3* TE’s (which is a 4* on a 5* scale - there no 5* TE). So, maybe 2 (or so) 5*, but no 3* takes (unless we grabbed some already).

Coach Sark, there's a Coach Beard on the phone.

On LB Anthony Hill, Jr. of Denton Ryan...IT saying he has one visit left to A&M in late July, but his father confirmed that his commitment timeline is now "anytime."

And Hill's family is getting recruited by the Mannings.

"We want Anthony Hill" is what Arch's father said to Anthony's father.

Anthony Hill, Ryan, Linebacker

Really happy to see we got Stroh. All very scientific reasoning, I thought he looked cool (and huge) on the sidelines at the Orange -White game.

I guess it really doesn’t matter, but how is Georgia ahead of us? Same number of 4 stars and we have one more 5 star.
It would be hard to imagine anything that matters less than recruiting service rankings. It’s a nice ‘soothayer’ barometer of talent but matters not on a scoreboard. Wisconsin has the best OL year-after-year with 3* recruits. And the ‘Phil Simms’ of the world fill volumes of failded 5*’s.

There are a handful of players for whom there will always be a place. Baxter, Cook, Hicks, Hill. But, if I’m not of that status, I better make up my mind. We can’t take 30 again.

Between the commits and the strong crystal ball leans, we have to be getting close to full. We need to be able to look at a couple of late bloomers in the fall.
