The alabama game was a very good defensive performance. Cringing as BY broke the pocket really worries me for the QB from UTSA as he has legs to hurt you. I am happy we had a good d performance saturday but it was only 1 game. If they do it over the next 3 games then that will be AWESOME and we should be 5-1 after the dirt burglars. Hope that proves out. Texas has not been Texas in far too long!!
But could be start of another momentum swing. If it is Vasek, it’s a nothing burger.
Hill "liked" this.
That would be a monster swing if they can make that happen.Go Johntay...Go Johntay...Go Johntay...

If this flip were to occur I fear it may have a negative impact on our relationship with Texas A&M University, a relationship dating back to 1894. It could possibly lead to slanderous comments in the most social of medias.
ags being 2-5 would be reward enough. Getting Hill would be awesome!!!Wait until Ags are 2-5...the wheels will start coming off, as will recruits.
Can't believe im saying this but am pulling for the canes on Saturday.
well why don't you forget about last year? The non committed recruits are just like a lot of us die hard fans. Last year is not erased by 1 game. That game did represent a phenomenal atmosphere and showed up as a solid team which both are light years ahead of last year but its 1 game. The UTSA qb is going to hurt us just like BY did last week. Alabama does not have their typical stud RB so we got a reprieve a little. Some of yall dont like it but we do not have elite LB or at least not on the field. O is pretty darn good but he is not elite. By all the press, Hill is elite and would love for him to be on the 40 next year.
To me it’s difficult not to conclude that our 2022 team is very different from last year. In Game 2 last year, we were completely outcoached and outplayed by a team that may struggle to compete with Alabama. Couple that with an atmosphere last Saturday so special that the entire sports media complex was talking about it for days. With a star quarterback out, we took arguably the best team in the country to the brink. The non committed recruits are just like a lot of us die hard fans. Last year is not erased by 1 game. The fact that Ewers leaving the game didn’t crush the hopes of the team (in fact they may have played harder afterwards) is 180 degree from last year against Arkansas. That was a cluster. To me it’s difficult not to conclude that our 2022 team is very different from last year. To me, to not conclude that this is a different team than last year‘s version would be to ignore the obvious. Could we stumble? Sure. But frankly, I don’t expect it, even if we have to go with a 3rd string quarterback Saturday that has never played.
There’s something different about this team; something very good.
