I don't know if LSU will put Hurd out there next inning. He's a strikeout pitcher, but he was way up high out of the zone, and frequently. Then he was down in the dirt a lot too. Living dangerously.

Really good game. Pitchers' (including relievers') dual for the most part. A couple of very costly errors almost did Wake in. Also, LSU walked too many batters. They're lucky it wasn't 5-2 or 6-2 Wake.

Florida plays TCU-Oral Roberts winner.
Wake Forest plays LSU-Tennessee winner.

Florida and Wake Forest would each have to lose 2 in a row to be ousted from their respective brackets.
