I'm stuck in astros territory. Most I talk to are friendly, but every one of them are confident they'll win the series. Maybe that changed after this evening but they're smug. Don't blame them, they've been on a run we could only wish for
 
I'm VERY fired up for the Rangers and mostly posting on the 2023 Ranger thread!

Don't care to mix it up here.....

It does. I restarted my mlb.tv subscription, so I'm able to watch in real time. Obviously the big limitation is the time change. If it's a day game, no problem. They'll start six hours later for me, but I can watch them. The night games are much tougher. They're starting at 1 a.m. That's brutal, so I'm mostly not watching them. However, if we go to the World Series, I'm going to do it. I'll take a nap during the day or something along those lines, but I'm not missing the Rangers in the World Series. I've been waiting on them to win it all for 39 years.
 
Wouldn't surprise me to see the Astros spank Texas in all 3 games in Arlington then have the Rangers win games 6 and 7 in Houston.
 
Okay, fellow Rangers zealots - I leave you in charge of cheering the Rangers on to victory today. I'm off for an overnight golfing outing with some buddies, so I won't have much chance to watch today's games. I fully expect you to cheer the Rangers today in my absence - I'll rejoin for the Thursday game.

Are you concerned about Max rust and short pitch count leash he will probably be on?

Cant go wrong with Dunning IMHO, but Bochy has certainly had time to best strategize his options.

DMN today said Bochy looking at Heanny / Dunning combo on Thurs., depending on how things go tonight.

No speculation on possible Friday pitcher. I suspect Montgomery - 4 days rest.

I'd feel better too and probably for the same reasons. However, I have a lot of faith in Bochy to make the right call. I've probably never been more deferential to a Ranger manager before. Obviously, we know that if Max is on, he's a beast - game over.

Dunning has pitched better after being named a starter than max has since he's been here. Plus I'm always leery of a SP coming off the DL
