After learning that Worthy, Mitchel and Sanders were declaring, I think most of us felt that we would struggle to fill an huge void in that room. Sark attacked the portal, and now most believe that we will be just fine. In fact, some think that we could have actually upgraded the room, particularly given the addition of Wingo, and the growth of Cook & Moore.

Two weeks ago, there’s probably no one who believed that Texas would not be taking a significant step backwards at DT. After all, we are losing two very high NFL draft choices. Again, Sark attacks the Portal. We have landed Savea and Norton. If we land either Jay Toia or Damonic Williams, or both, could an argument be made that overall, we may have actually upgraded the position?

No, we will not be better than last years DL even when its all settled. We will not be as for behind if we can land another DL. I think when January developes and we land a big time DL portal next year then we may be closer to what we had last year. We are going to have to excercise some patience for the DL to be as good as last years. However i am making room in my mind to be surprised this upcoming season.
