Patterson is an ace when it comes to negative recruiting against Texas.
We're going to have to keep our eye on this one.

Makes me wonder if Manning communicated to him that he is leaning somewhere else.Completely out of the blue. Reports were he had a fantastic visit and was even " recruiting " Manning. So this may open a whole other can of worms. Fortunately were still in it and have a year to continue working him.
Of coarse on field results will play a big factor.
Agree for sure. A star that comes here will make more moolah off the brand than just about anywhere else.Re: 5 star players
So, is it true that the players can now profit from their likeness? If so, then their "brand" is possibly held aloft by the school they attend. And if UT is very high in revenues, then you'd think we are now top 5 in terms of money for the player even if we're not top 10-15 on the field.
True?
For the record..Reuben Owens is a 2023 recruit..not '22..to my knowledge....
FWIW
No biggie...He is indeed a 23'. My error in placing it in this thread.
negative recruiting ag sark is way diff … skins on the wall with a natty as the best OC in the country … what has coach TCU done …chirp chirp … nothing ..Patterson is an ace when it comes to negative recruiting against Texas.

I have grown skeptical of players that (supposedly) are actively recruiting others. We have to remember that these are 17-18 year old kids living in a man’s body. Most have little or no guidance, and virtually all of them lack maturity. They have grown men stalking them 24/7, and micro analyzing every word they utter.Reports were he had a fantastic visit and was even " recruiting "
He could start with bowl record- Sark is 2-2 as a HC in bowls with both wins being Holiday Bowls. Patterson bowl record is 13-6 with wins in Rose and Peach bowls. I think he could push Sark greatest success has come under Saban, who wouldn't be successful in that machine over the last 2 decades. There is plenty of more negative stuff to pull and we all know it. I don't think any of it adds up and think we offer a lot more than TCU but with the way 18 yo's think today and then add in their parents who think their baby is God's gift to football... you just never know.negative recruiting ag sark is way diff … skins on the wall with a natty as the best OC in the country … what has coach TCU done …chirp chirp … nothing ..
that’s right
I have him penciled to the horns. There is no way he is looking at others. He just wants to come across as being hard to get. And that's okFrom Bryce Anderson
“The four schools that are sticking out to me the most right now are Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M and LSU,” said Anderson.
Anderson was hoping to announce in early July but is now pushing that time back.
“I originally had it for July 4th but i'm going to push it back due to my high school team making it to the Texas State 7 on 7 tournament,” said Anderson. “So that means I won't be able to take all of my official visits, so it'll be after I take all of my official visits.”
Texas v. OU battle but I feel good about this one. He has one crystal ball from Mike Roach @ Rivals … other older CBs are for OU.

If Texas starts rolling, they will take advantage of it by following in Texas’ wake. Watch them switch on dime.Just a hunch that Patterson and Fischer know that the landscape is changing. They can play whatever mind games they choose now but I sense that the Burnt Orange Train is getting ready to roll.
Put simply, unless Sark falls flat on his face (which I seriously doubt), their 15 minutes of fame (ok, perhaps longer) would appear to be in jeopardy.
It would be nice to take both, if they're willing. OTOH, all other things being equal (and I realize all other things are rarely equal), given a must-choose, I'd normally prefer the in-state player - if only to cement good relationships with the HS coaches in-state.Where it gets tricky is possibly having to decide between Jacob Sexton (Edmond, OK) and Cameron Williams (Duncanville).
I want this guy …
