2022 Recruiting - Football

Not a huge surprise and it's been mentioned a few times before visits started back up again, but TFB is receiving significantly higher praise from people at these recruiting events in comparison to those under Herman and Strong.

They keep talking about how Sark and staff are very relatable people and focus on details with their recruiting strategies/presentations, and they don't have any doubts Texas will be in big-time recruiting battles going forward.

I liked what one recruit said he heard from Sark.
"We're going to get there with you or without you. But we'd like to have you with us".
Or something to that effect. :)

OrangeBloods had an encouraging update on OL Jacob Sexton of Edmond, OK.

He said the visit went very well and he enjoyed finally being able to see Sark, Coach Flood and others in-person.

His parents have given him their blessing to go wherever he sees fit, and he wants to make a decision in July after a few more visits to A&M and OK State.

One big team absent from his official visit list is Oklahoma, although he said he might take an unofficial visit there in the fall.

He also added that he and OL Cole Hutson of Frisco High hit it off this weekend after getting to know each other previously on the camp circuit.

A bonus note, if you saw all of the pictures yesterday, was Sexton showing up to campus wearing a Texas letterman jacket.

Great weekend in Austin! #allgasnobreaks
