2022 Recruiting - Football

Looks like we're out of it with Tyler RB Jamarion Miller, according to TFB. Has one visit date open right now, but has no interest in filling that date with Texas. No wonder we're looking at other options.

The competition in the RB room is about to get intense, and maybe creating some angst in this young, but very exceptional RB who I would have loved to join the Horns.

But who knows the real reason. Of course, its not over untill its over.

I have to say I am getting tired of these top whatever lists.
Who cares.
Just attention seeking.

Keep in mind he is basically telling the ITT , SMU's of the world stop calling me. By putting out these lists it's basically a list of who he will field calls from. It's not about us fans it's more or less I'm sick of the phone continually ringing.

It's not official yet, but former Del Valle head coach Charles Burton will join the staff at @LTHSCavFootball for the fall season. His son, 5-star 2022 WR Caleb Burton, will also enroll at Lake Travis High School in the fall. Stay tuned for story when hire becomes official.
This may become interesting again.

RB Tavorus Jones of El Paso Burges told OrangeBloods recently that he's fine with a two-back system at whatever school he attends, and Texas is selling him on that.

He will officially visit UT in June, and that's the only visit he has set up so far.

If this truly happens, I like our chances given Sark and his current staff on the Longhorn train.

ALL GAS NO BRAKES !!

:ut:

Here's hoping IMG folds. I have been on record since its inception that I wouldn't take a kid that walked out on his hometown & HS to play in a "foreign land".

Taking an OV June 11-13.

Snelling told 247 that he decided to de-commit from Stanford baseball about two months ago because he was receiving too much attention in football.

He says Texas will allow him to play baseball too if he chooses.
