2022 Recruiting - Football

Harris is a relative of WR Teddy Knox of The Woodlands. Both are originally from Baton Rouge.

We offered 2022 DB Bryan Allen Jr of Aledo -- has top end speed with decent size, and his dad is a big Texas fan.

We offered 4-star 2022 DB Dasan McCullough from Kansas -- he is the son of the Chief's RB coach Deland McCullough and grandson of former NFL coach Sherman Smith. Wiltfong says he will visit in the Spring.

Committed to LSU

Man I hope he sees the light and decommits from LSU to the longhorns. I, for one, am awfully proud of being a Texan. I can understand if a different School specializes in a recruit's major but why not attend the state's flagship University. I know there are other factors but a free ride at UT in Austin is a huge boon to one's future.

From Rivals
One player who is definitely planning to make a visit to Texas is 2022 Mater Dei cornerback Domani Jackson. Jackson already holds a top 10 national ranking, and he was surprised to hear Texas was interested. As an underclassman, Jackson isn’t allowed to have much contact with the coaches, but his father said they were looking to make a trip to Austin this summer. Jackson is close with Texas defensive back Chris Adimora, and he wants to see Austin for himself.

Mitchell went to Mater Dei in New Jersey, not LA
Then had to go to a JUCO (Butler in KS)
Thank you for the correction.

Just saw his HS highlights at Mater Dei. How many are there in the US? Have noticed there are at least two St. John Boscos.

I thought it odd if he went to Mater Dei Santa Ana that he would commit to Rutgers initially. He definitely improved his lot at Texas.
