2021 Recruiting - Football

I don't care about anyone else, if we don't get the Brockermeyer Bros, then we are in bad shape. We better get them.

Just because they are legacy players doesn't mean we screwed something up not to get them. If they find the best fit for them then good for them. I'm certain they have gotten pressure their whole lives to come to Texas and sometimes that's a complete turn off making the kids feel like they have to prove they can make their own decisions. I am fairly certain there is plenty of effort going into getting one if not both of the brothers.

It’s true...regardless of skill level, if they didn’t “dream” of going to Texas, why should they go where their Dad did? They won’t be their best if they come to Texas based on pure obligation....

Landon Jackson --
“I grew up watching Texas a lot. Them moving to a four-man front helps. I was heavy on them early last year, but they started fading because of the fit,” Jackson said before the Future 50 Camp in Orlando. “I prefer the four-man front so I can stay on the edge and rush the passer.”

Tunmise Adeleye --
“I’ll be back at Texas in January,” Adeleye declared. “I want to see what the new defensive vision is about.”

this one sort of went viral

Landon has a killer vicious head slap there. He could easily knock someone out with that. Picture the new DL pass rush move--the b!#$% slap. I can see some Randy White in this one.

I can see some yellow hankies because of this one.

Chop....what is to change regarding QuayD?
The way he phrased it (double neg) would logically mean that something changed. I’m no grammar commie, so I put in a rolling eyes emoji to laugh a bit at myself for pointing it out.

I can't say what's in anyone's head. However, it is apparent that Luke, big brother, indeed dreamed of coming to Texas. Luke turned down full rides at Oregon and Rice to walk on here. Now on scholarship, but it was no guarantee.

Having a brother on the inside is only good if things are going good, otherwise it can backfire. Now that things are going good, I feel better about our legacy recruits

High 4-star OL Donovan Jackson set to announce early
The CBs favor tOSU -- pretty sick of watching Texas natives play starring roles for them

Aggy is the big loser for Jackson, they all thought he was an aggy lock. We lead for him for a couple of weeks, but our suckage killed that momentum.

Agree^^. Our last two games were certainly positive, and I hope the momentum continues with a great record next year.
My memory (not that it's so great) is that when the Horns have strongly pursued legacy recruits our record of getting them is very good. Tommy and James can go anywhere, no doubt, but I do believe burnt orange blood runs in their veins. :hookem2:

OB says we will hold our second annual "Elite Day" on Jan 18 for the 2021s.
Possibly some younger classes too
Tommy Brockermeyer, James Brockermeyer, Quaydarius Davis, and Shemar Turner among others
Meet & greet with the Minister of Culture
+ BB game with KU
Gonna be rockin

2021 OL Donovan Jackson (Bellaire Episcopal) to Ohio State.
"Another thing to keep in mind that went a long way with Jackson is the fact that his parents and family is from the state of Ohio, so there was already a lot of familiarity for him with the program."

Garret Wilson Part Deaux.

I am just visiting Texas to learn football.

Well, there is still have a year to go.
