2021 Recruiting - Football

Milroe must be reconsidering Texas given he decommitted right after Ewers committed ( I think that’s right), and he was solid as could be only a couple months ago. I think he recommits. Bama doesn’t need him nor will they use him

He ain't coming back. Urban will get Ewers back though

A little bit of hope on recruiting

"After Urban Meyer was hired at Ohio State in late November, he landed eight four-stars and one five-star before NSD."

Sadly, the rules are different now. But if we hurry, he will have a shot

Roach

I’ve heard that Texas running back commit Jonathon Brooks has been looking around a bit. He’s reached out to several programs from what I was told, but Brooks’ options are limited right now. Texas State seems to be the only offer that’s committable unless he has others he hasn’t reported. We’ll continue to monitor this one closely

I'm glad Herman can still beat out Houston Baptist, Texas State, Tulane, Louisiana for prospects... This class is a big old turd...

Jack Bech a wr from Louisiana who was expected in town soon committed to LSU over the weekend.

Bowman - ouch

“I feel like (ou) checked every single one of my bullet points. One of them was being able to play on one of the biggest stages in college football. I also wanted to be closer to home, be around coaches who know what they are doing, and be around a championship program. I feel like I made the right decision for me, my family and my future.”

This quite from Billy Bowman in the Denton Record Chronicle today.

These kids are connected more than ever on social media so this is brutal.

It doesn't help that's for sure. But at the same time, OU has two losses and barely beat us in overtime. That does not describe "coaches that know what they are doing" to the degree he is obviously implying.

Whatever Bowman. Just go. Your big mouth is actually proving that you belong there because that's the kind of player they like.

Rules are made to be stretched.

Well, he called it clear and plain. Our coaches don't seem to know that they are doing, and we are not even close to being a championship program, at least not right now.

May as well face the facts folks. We are not going to get or keep a lot of 4 and 5 star recruits. Why go to a losing program without coaching. why go to a school that you cannot showcase your talent on a national scale. Why go to a school that your talents cannot be improved? Unless we have a wholesale change at this university,it will just get worse.

Kid has a strong arm. Throws BBs but sailed one 55 yards. Has touch. He really didn't run tonight

He was helped by Gary having to use a sophomore QB, who played like an uncoached sophomore. A sophomore on Katy's defense plays like a senior. A sophomore QB at Southlake, plays like a senior. This kid played like a sophomore.

We can battle Tx State, UTSA, UTEP for recruits.

I certainly hope the unfortunate reality of this statement irritates other Longhorn fans as much as it does me. I just cant accept that UT may now be like the rest of the US in that what is supposed to be is no longer relevant.

But note, this is the same guy

3 ugly wins in a row. Ain't moving the needle on any recruits. I'm sure Ewers watching today's offensive show.
