2021 NCAA tournament

Well my men's bracket is BUSTED! Hopefully I'll do better with the women's bracket. Welcome to March Madness folks!

This coaching staff is in their first year at CM, so it’s quite an accomplishment I’d say.

I don't believe the investment into the women's program is relevant. I hate to say it, but I only want to watch the best. My money for entertainment goes for the best. And I believe their revenues reflect a widespread agreement with my point of view. You can't make us want to spend our money on them by spending money on them.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I actually prefer women's sports to men's. I like teamwork, camaraderie, enthusiasm, support for your fellow player. They are all great (men and women) athletes, but the women just seem to be more about the team and less about individual stats.

Nice article in the Statesman today about Etheridge. Her team is playing in the Erwin Center. What a shame fans can’t see her team play. She is doing a phenomenal job at Washington St. I’m excited to see what more she can accomplish.
 
No upsets and all higher seeds advancing made for a boring first day. Let’s hope tomorrow is every bit as boring.
 
SFA owned the first half, then Tech came out strong in the 3rd period. I wonder if Nell Fortner would be available to consult on halftime talks??
 
First major upset on the women's side, as Wright State defeats Arkansas 66-62. That's what happens when you have a bad offensive game and solid defense is not a focal point of your playing style. You're NOT going to shoot the ball well EVERY SINGLE GAME... You can take defense with you everywhere.
 
I know it's been years since the SWC but I did smile as I watched Wright State knock Arkansas out of the tourney in the Erwin Center.

Arky got a lot of favorable foul/no foul calls in my opinion.
 
For our sake, I was hoping for an upset free day. I hope the Horns are paying attention. Seeding is a number that has no meaning unless you bring your full game!
 
Longhorns better be ready to play and come out guns ablazing. Take care of the ball, stay consistent on offense and defense. Get a lead and keep their foot on their necks. These lower seeds are not playing today.

Wright took their foot off the gas and stopped playing their game and the Razorbacks almost came back to win.

Neighbors comes straight out and says he doesn't care about defense. Vic puts an emphasis on defense. I think it will show tonight.
 
30 has one job. Push Charlie around. She’s not even aware what’s going on around her. Hopefully Charlie doesn’t fall for it and keeps her composure.
 
Texas finding that offensive rhythm which is all we needed. It's quite clear Bradley can't handle pressure whatsoever. Hopefully our offense keeps up the momentum and we should get out with an easy win but it's the ncaa tournament and you never know what's going to happen
