Which site is showing him as a visitor?

Ah, that would change his plans if he were intending to attend the game. Thanks.

Collins - you will have no trouble figuring out which one he is by the end. He is 6-6.5, 277 now, will be in Austin today

----------------------------------------------------------
And here is Ja'Quinden Jackson (#3) -- Defense thought they had 2 pts, but rolls to the right, and passes for a 90-yard TD

Another td here

Collins was on him like a lion on a gazelle.

Too bad that JaQuinden guy is too good an athlete to play QB. Just a crying shame ..... sigh.

Johnston was too deep for his QB. Anyone for JaQuinden to Quentin?

Eaton looks like a land based cruise missile.

Jaxon better be a flip as UT has a lot of time invested evidently.

Anyone want some bus tickets to El Paso?

Based on a first hand account from a poster elsewhere, it sounds like Collins committed to us last night. Some of our coaches were there, post-game giving him hugs, even Orlando. Dont ask me to verify because that's impossible. Hope it's true. We will see.

Looks ever more likely the 2021 Texas DL will have Broughton, Collins, Fillinger, Umanmielen, Coburn, Ojomo and Sweat, among others. Not bad.

Lotsa visitors next weekend
“This will be a big recruiting weekend for us. A lot of unofficial visitors that will get to experience big time college football.”

There have been 3 new Texas CBs for Collins within the last 48 hrs
Now 6 total CBs, all Texas

My two favorite RBs in this cycle are Milton and Robinson. I'm still pretty convinced that Milton is the best in this class, but Robinson is the best fit Texas in the Big 12. He is going to be a terror in the Big 12 to opposing teams.

I have to also admit, I love me some Ty Jordan. He is like Darren Sporles 2.0 I really want him.

The kid from Katy who recently moved in from South Carolina is interesting. We need a big back who can punish a defense. He would be great. If Jordan picks a different school I hope we go all in on him.

OK, well ... as previously stated, we will see

I liked Milton too, but Bijan is probably the most exciting RB commit we have had since Ced or Jamaal (JGray was a 5-star too I guess). He has great vision, cutting ability and acceleration.

Rumor out there that RB Zach Evans got into a heated argument with his coaches and has been suspended fro the next 3 games. Have not seen this confirmed yet.

If you dont already know, Katy upset the defending state champs and #2 ranked team nationally by USA Today 24-21, despite GPNS leading 21-7 at half. Evans barely saw the ball in the second half, having just one carry in the 3Q. Weird strategy for sure

Part of a Clint Buckley piece on Ty Jordan. This weekend is an UOV if he makes it. He is set to OV Sept 21 (Okie St)

West Mesquite 2020 running back Ty Jordan isn’t the biggest, but he’s about as compete of a back as it gets at the high school level. His talents were on full display Saturday afternoon during his team’s season opener in Waco against Hutto. Despite West Mesquite’s 41-21 loss, Jordan shined. He spoke with Horns247 following the game.
* * *
Jordan scored all three touchdowns for West Mesquite, rushing 12 times for 56 yards while catching 10 passes for 79 yards against at tough Hutto defense .... “I’m what they call a toy back or a three-dimensional back,” Jordan said. “I can run, I can stay in the backfield and block, and I can also run routes and catch the ball. Not too many running backs can do that. That ability to run routes and catch the ball, it cuts down time of switching guys on the field.”

Despite his small stature, Jordan runs with an attitude. “It comes from the heart,” he said. "It doesn’t matter if you’re 6-5, 230, I’ll go in the trenches with you.” Jordan wants to make a decision sooner rather than later. “I don’t want to wait too long, spots are filling up, opportunities are getting lost,” Jordan said. “So I’m starting to narrow things down. My decision is coming pretty soon, within the next couple of weeks.”

The all-purpose back is keenly aware of the Dallas-to-Austin movement that took hold over the summer beginning with the commitment of Duncanville’s Ja'Quinden Jackson. “I played with (Jackson) my eighth grade year,” Jordan said. “Me and him are tight. He doesn’t bug me about it, but he is in my ear like, ‘hey, make that move. Let’s start something, let’s come down to Austin and start something.’”

All-purpose RB Ty Jordan closing in on decision

Say, is Collins the one on the left, #99 in blue in the bottom pic? Hard to pick him out in a huddle. :rolleyes1:

Let’s don't lay an egg on Saturday.

Whatever else they see, these recruits are sure to see a wildly fired up electric game atmosphere.

2020 CB Dwight McGlothern (6'1.5, 180) from Klein Oak. Although I am not sure we are even recruiting him - and he was ranked high early (5-star in some ranked, EJ Holland loved him) then fell off bigly - still a 4-star by 247 but now a 3-star in the 247Comp)-- sounds more like Piggy, maybe Ducks
