2020 Recruiting - Football

Ohh, I hope something comes out soon! I'm hopeful something awesome, but I'm told it doesn't matter and I shouldn't care so I'm conflicted. :confused2:

Supposed to be a 2020 (but not Rogers - who was the leader in the clubhouse per social media rumors). And he is not supposed to go public for a few more weeks.

Some takes from 247's Mike Roach --

—The Dallas to Austin trend is picking up steam. All D-FW prospects we talked to today were excited about the idea of playing together at the next level. Most of them credited Duncanville star Ja’Quinden Jackson with that movement. As I’ve said before, Jackson isn’t vocal on social media, but he’s the most respected man in Dallas. Kids from the I-20 corridor in Dallas which includes Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Lancaster, South Oak Cliff, and Bishop Dunne all grew up around each other playing youth football. Jackson appears to be the key Texas needed to unlock Dallas.

—We aren’t allowed to speak with official visitors while they are on their visit, but Bijan Robinson and his family were all smiles when they buzzed by on a golf cart. We’ll have more information following the visit, but this was a great weekend to host the five-star back and show off some of the family dynamics.

—Speaking of family dynamic, I’m told that Texas made some progress on five-star Calabasas (Calif.) wide receiver Johnny Wilson. Wilson returned for his second unofficial visit of the summer, and it’s virtually a lock he will come back for an official. I’m told that De’Gabriel Floyd and his family have been instrumental in breaking down that family dynamic to Wilson, and I could see this one playing out in Texas’ favor the longer it goes

It didn't take much to read the writing on the wall, JQJ was a guy that others were going to follow. He comes across as a natural born leader that others are drawn to.

This is the #1 reason I predicted that when it is all said and done, this class will be all about the DFW guys and the Arizona guys. And i do think this class will be in the top 4 again this year. Especially in the class average rankings.

Here is my class prediction as I see it right now.

QB - Card and JQJ
RB - Robinson and one more.
Oline - Parr, Garth, Majors, and Lingberg
WR - Johnny Wilson, and Quentin Johnston
TE/H Back - Hullaby

DLine - Alfred Collins, Vernon Broughton, Octavious Oxendine, Jalen Logan-Redding.
Linebacker - Prince Dobrah, Justin Flowe, Damian Sellers

DBacks - Ringo, Ransom, Crawford, Thompson and Rogers

I'm sure it's overkill but those are my picks.

This class size will probably be too small for that
But we will be up there in average player score

The latest CB situation with Bijan Robinson is --

Mike Roach (Texas247) and Brandon Drumm (ou247) have him to Texas
Demetric Warren (247 natl guy/ex-ou regional guy) has him to UCLA
Blair Angulo (Mountain guy/ex-USC) and who 247 calls "the lead expert for 247Sports on Bijan Robinson" has him as cloudy
Andrew Ellis (Ohio/tOSU guy) has him as cloudy

I'm sure it's overkill but those are my picks.
Its a lot of fun to predict who will sign. Too much time between now and signing day(s) for me to offer up my predictions. So much will change between now and then.

But I do like your picks, and those would be OK with me if by some miracle they all would sign with the Horns.
