I'm generally pro-plaintiff and don't support special liability protections for gun manufacturers, but clearly it's insane to single them out for special liability as well. First, tort law is a state matter. There shouldn't be a federal cause of action for personal injury. Personal injury cases are brought under state law, and usually in state court.

Second, the idea that a defendant would be held strictly liable (meaning without proof of fault) for the intentional criminal acts of someone else is ridiculous. The intent of a law like that is very obviously to bankrupt the gun manufacturers.

If there is a true products defect, then sure, hold the gun manufacturer liable. However, some crackpot deciding to use the gun in the commission of a crime is not a products defect. The product was fine. The lunatic who fired the gun should be held liable. Should others be liable as well? Depends. If you illegally sell a gun to someone who uses it in a crime, I don't have a problem with imposing liability. However, that's going to be the gun dealer, not the manufacturer.

If a dumbass law like Warren's is ever passed, it should get struck down in court.

The very next law she passed would be a legal declaration that anyone who voted for Trump committed a hate crime and, thus, could not own a gun. Doubt me at your peril

The reason people like Trump is because he doesn’t run away from what he says. He owns it. So now we have Bloomberg running away from stop and frisk. He’s being called a racist for that policy he continue once elected. What Bloomberg should have done is turn it back on his accuser by calling them racist because most of the victims of crimes are black and they don’t want to protect the innocent blacks. The policy worked. So less crimes against blacks.
 
What the Russians are allegedly doing pales in comparison to what the British did before the two world wars and what Trump did in the recent Israeli election to help Netanyahu
 
My wife and I went into town and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, "Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?" He just ignored us and continued writing the ticket.

I called him an "*******." He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires.

So my wife called him a "shithead." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets.

This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.
He finally finished, sneered at us and walked away. Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home..

We always look for cars with Bernie Sanders stickers. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's so important at our age!!
 
That was a great segment by Tucker. He is right that the CIA/FBI and probably other wealthy people with influence over them even are manipulating our elections and subverting our governmental processes. The only way to end it, is to shrink the size of government, cancel agencies, throw offenders in jail for life, reduce spending, eliminate Fed monopoly system. That gives power to the people and allows state governments more room to rule. We may need some Brexit events in the US too.

I have seen this take from many in the Wall Street finance circles. Make sense for Hollywood to emulate it. It’s basically allows you to distance from Trump but vote for a moderate. It also sets them up when Bernie wins to vote for Trump.

For the sake of argument, assuming you are right, that means a plurality of GOP and Dems don’t give a **** about Russia since they obviously are not listening to your Russian collusion nonsense about either candidate?
