Some Bru McCoy quotes from 247 --

“I love the program, primarily the coaches and the environment. Austin is a really cool city. The program is on the up and up. You look at Coach (Tom) Herman and what he did at Houston and now transferring that to Texas, you can see where the program is heading.”

“Austin is different. The culture is very football based. They are all in football fans. Going to the game and watching 103,000 people scream chants, I’ve never experienced that, and you don’t get that experience in California given the number of teams. Texas is the football school that represents Texas, in my opinion."

“He’s (De'Gabriel Floyd) recruiting me as hard as anyone has ever recruited me. Gabe is one of my friends. I know he has my best interest in mind but also, I know he wants me to be his teammate. Me and him did get to play a little in 7-on-7 in the offseason. He’s a freak of a player. He tells me why he’s going there and why he’s so confident. He told me I shouldn’t be worried because we have each other’s backs. He’s done a great job of making me comfortable if that were the decision I were to make.”

3-Star SDE preferred walk-on from Bellaire Episcopal, same school as Walker Little and Jaylen Waddle. He had offers from several Ivy League schools

Makes sense. top tier DL/LB juco transfers would be huge for us.

Holland has already CBd Jones to Texas

It's possible we will be all-new next season across the board at LB
I think Orlando has been playing Shark out of position, we will see what happens there. He has not looked that great.

Demetric Warren put in a CB for Noah Cain to Texas

Holland also CBd Cain to the good guys. He thinks LSU is out (idea being Cain doesn't want to be in a three RB class). He might not even OV there as Emery announced earlier than expected. And the LSU 247 mods also now have Cain to Texas. In case you did not know, Cain is originally from Baton Rouge and comes from a family of Tiger fans. But Cain’s mother now lives in Dallas and he will do his announcement on ESPN with his mom from Dallas. Like most IMG guys, he will be an EE. So that announcement will be sometime near the Dec signing day.

As to Georgia, soon after Emery announced, they grabbed another 4-star RB Kenny McIntosh. But as of now, Cain is still going to OV to Georgia. We will see if that changes. In any event, Mike Roach thinks its down to us and Penn St.

So, if we do get Cain, that is probably it at RB. And I dont know the answer to "What if Sanders ...."

IT says TCU's Patterson has been using the Zach Smith stuff to negative recruit us and it's getting through to Catalon's parents

But BC seems to give a rats ***

If Sanders throws up the Hook’em then you have to take him. To me that’s not even a question. Because I believe Cain and Bru McCoy are all intertwined with Sanders.

Patterson of all people should not be spouting off about this. Catalon's parents need to be told of the fighting and drug arrests of TCU football players over Patterson's time there.

I like the way recruiting is going! We are in on some high prospects. I think we finish no lower than a 3 ranking again. :hammertime::popcorn:

I'd like to see us close with this

1. Tre Sanders / Noah Cain
2. Bru McCoy
3. Hookfin
4. Faatui Tuitele
5. Elijah Higgins
6. Bamidele Olaseni - Juco OT
7. DE/CB
Personally I would prefer Sanders over Cain though Cain would be be a pretty good get also.
If we miss out on Tuitele then Jones would be a good replacement.
I wouldn't mind getting Demond Demas- that would be huge. Wrs have to be drueling about our qbs and we will be strong at qb for at least the next 5 years I'm thinking. It's good to be a longhorn. :hookem:
