2019 Recruiting - Football

Gotta say, as much as I've complained about his process it was nice to see the aggy, Bama and Georgia hats on the table while the Longhorn hat is on his head. Even though I knew Bama and Ga weren't really in it the optics were awesome. Sometimes it's just about winning.
 
The Big 4 in-state OLs for 2019 were:

Bragg: Stanford
Green: aggy
Shepherd: Texas
Johnson: Texas​

Now the wait to see how he pans out. I truly hope that he was simply wanting to enjoy a once in his lifetime experience/process. I hope he is not doing all this because he is a diva. Coburn kinda engaged in some similar behavior and so far so good in his case.
 
We have top 3 classes two years in a row

By the way, this was the first time in modern program history we did back-to-back top 3 classes. That includes the Mack Brown "recruiting heydays."
The closest we've come to this was a 2-4-2 finish in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Meanwhile, aggy continues to love front-running

Isn't it true that any o-lineman (except for grad tranfers) we get will redshirt the first year because we have a number of good upper class lineman.
 
Looks like our o-line is going to be a force to be reckoned with now and especially in the near future. And the 2020 class will only bolster this prospect...makes me want to do cartwheels or one or maybe half ok I'll think about it.:hammertime:

I am thrilled with the crop of walk-ons that we got in. Multiple walk-ons that are going to be joining our program this summer had Division I offers. Some even committed to Division I schools.​

How can Alabama seemingly sign over 25 kids year in and year out when hardly anyone else does it? Do they always have 3 or 4 kids who do not qualify?
 
Per 247, we gave out 137 scholarship offers.
2nd-lowest total in the Big 12 and among the lowest in the nation.
