We are doing an in-home with JUCO OL Trevor Elbert. He is originally from Texas. Interesting story. See above. An offer is possible this trip. We will see.

First play is pretty funny - he runs 15 yards to crack a smaller guy after the whistle

Thanks Joe! Impressive list and hope they sign plus some others. It will be good to get as many early signatures as we can to keep the poachers at bay.

Can add Eagles to the early signers list

He looks like a perfect candidate for a 4i technique...."

Seems like a huge pile of early enrolments. I do not see early signees as a separate list. There is a difference right?

Out of this meeting came Trevor Elbert's OV to Austin on Dec 15. He probably looks more like a RT or a masher OG than he does LT. But we are short on experienced OLs all over.

I'm really not worried about TE and getting Ford as much as others seem to. I think Brewer (if he can stay healthy) is going to be good, plus we have Epps, who looks like the real deal on film. Both need to add a little weight and focus on the blocking sled but as far as their role in the passing game they'll be really good. If Beck uses them.
 
Almost 2 months since our last commit. Seems like forever ago. And it'll seem like forever between now and the 20th. I wonder if Herman is working harder on recruiting than game prep? What a shite show that would be.
