I kinda thought with Shae on the bench in Florida that might be a good sign she was returning sometime soon.
I saw her with the team during the trophy presentation, dressed in warmups. Wonder what her status is.

I like Coach Aston's quote about Audrey.Aston said the Longhorns “will miss Lashann and all the energy and experience she brings” but that there is hope on the horizon.
“Audrey’s an old-school type of player,” Aston said. “She’s got a little bit of a junkyard dog mentality.”
Based on the games I’ve seen her play, Celeste has that same kind of approach to the game - opposing players are going to have to fight for it. For the next few years, shooting guards, small forwards and even some posts are going to leave the floor against Texas feeling a lot more worn down than usual.Aston: Texas will regroup with young players in wake of season-ending injury to Lashann Higgs | Hookem.com
I like Coach Aston's quote about Audrey.
Jada needs to find the stroke she had as a frehman when she hit 67.6% on 34 attempts - not great but better than last season (18/31, 58.1%) and this season (6/14, 42.9%). She is currently tied for 2nd with Audrey in FT attempts and is on pace for 60+ free throws. I certainly hope Joyner’s been working on her free throws or Texas could fall farther on that list because she gets a fairly good number of attempts. Her freshman year she got 107 attempts and made 73 (68.2%) but, like Jada, tailed off in 2018 (35/62, 56.5%). Just checked - Sug following the same pattern:FT percentages for most the teams is kinda depressing.

Coach Aston addresses the Mississippi State game and Joyner's return
SMH, the same tired, old, cliche, excuses, and coach speak about more ball reversal and inexperienced players. Nothing will change even with Joyner’s return.
Not a problem, flash. Ask Dionysus to change it if you really want to.Wednesday game probably won’t be a good measure of changes but Tennessee will.
Tenn uses a 22-6 3rd period to erase the 20 deficit and ends up with a 65-55 win over the Hatters.
Texas can beat Tennessee IF the Horns play 40 minutes. Tennessee has been in this loaf, loaf, loaf, uh-oh turn it on mode a lot.
Tennessee won't come into Austin half asleep...I expect utenn will turn it on for us. Here’s to being prepared for anything.
Never over estimate Holly.Tennessee won't come into Austin half asleep...
