LOL. Sam has not seen the likes of the TCU defense this year. Sam would have been slaughtered out there. And there will be no one on our schedule this year who plays D in the same class as TCU.
 
The offense just seems like they are resigned to lose. I don't see anybody really busting their butt to make plays. It's just, "there's the ball, it's too far away, oh well."

Everyone has outcoached us for five years in a row. We may just need to shut down the football program. This is just too embarassing...year in year out.
 
UT has become the official graveyard of college coaching! 8 years, 3 coaches, .500 record, apathetic fan base, setting all kinds of records for futility. I hope it truly is ‘darkest before the dawn’!!
 
Herman talking: too many big plays early on then D settled down. O can’t stay ahead of the chains. Our D playing high level but O not helping.

3 personal fouls (2 on first drive) is absurd.13 rushes 34 yds 2.6 yds per carry. Passing 254,yds TCU HAD ONLY 156.

Collin Johnson 3 rec 49yds 1TD. Young 12 rush 31yds. 2rec 42 yds. Shane 21-44, 245 yds 1TD.
LJH 6 rec 109 yds

Need 2 win to be bowl eligible.
TCU 61 tackles 12 for loss 7 sacks 9PBU

First string players or not, if Saban was coaching tonight he would have had more than 9 yds rushing and 7 points. He would never accept Becks mediocrity....heck, he would have never hired Beck in the first place.
 
Hope we beat Kansas. We’ll probably lose to West Virginia. Don’t know about Tech.

It’s looking like 5-7 or 6-6 for Tom Herman this year. Same as Charlie Strong. Now that is concerning.
 
If our O keeps up this level of play we beat Kansas 24 - 9. Loose the rest. The D can’t keep holding team to 10-20 points while the O plays with their britches down around their ankles.

And Rowland...gimme a break. Limp leg!

And we will long remember the next 2 years finishing 5-7. If we finish 5-7 this year, We’re going to have seniors this year, maybe next year too, who have never had a winning season. That’s pathetic.
 
Wow, everyone settled down. Yep not up to UT standard. The D has greatly improved, let's be a little positive. I know it's hard but have some confidence.

It's hard to be positive when the team has a worse record then they did at this point last year. I guess if someone is into individual performances, this year is better than the last in some cases (save Foreman). As far as the team is concerned, it's either the same or worse.
 
Receivers pissing me off. How many dropped passes? Mapps fielding punts inside the 10 once again? No one knows what play to run on 4th and 3. How many mistakes can this group make?
 
I was at the game. An utter exercise in futility. Some random comments:
-The weather was nice. Don't go to many November games in shorts. Lots of orange in the stadium.
-The OL does not exist. How can five large humans be that bad? QB and RBs never had a chance.
-Not good when the punter is the MVP of the team.
-Nice little stadium but had to be one of the most annoying game experiences I've ever had. Constantly blaring music, mostly rap, over the speakers.
-I was in favor of letting Charlie go. I was kind of lukewarm about the Herman hire. I'm officially ice cold about the Herman hire now.
-I'm assuming we have an offensive coordinator on the staff. If we do, I don't think he's doing a very good job.
-I'd come up with more but I'm feeling pretty apathetic right now. On top of that, I just don't care.

It's not just how long the losing streak is (Mack's last four, three years of Charlie and one year of Herman); it's the constant starting over and not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't see it right now either. It literally could be two more years before the line is shored up; Orlando could be gone by then anyway. And we have to wonder about Beck and replacing him. Herman has a lot of tough days ahead of him and you have to question whether or not he knows WHAT to do and HOW to do it.

What's amazing to me is that, every year recently, the performance of this team is worse than I could possibly have imagined. That was true for the last few years with Mack, and it was certainly true with CS. Now it's deja vu all over again with Herman.

I thought Herman was the answer. Now I am having second thoughts. Next year the offense should be better, but then what about the defense if MJ, Elliott and Hill are gone, not to mention Poona Ford?

I'm pretty bummed and frankly, I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Would like to see H-M held to the same standard as some of the other guys.
 
What do you guys not understand about a young inexperienced banged up OL...........our OL sucks and it really doesnt matter what play is called or what OC is up in the booth making the calls. If you cant block it it will SUCK! Its not like TCU was fielding a bunch of stiffs on their front 7 either........till the OL is restocked our offense will SUCK!

PS........baked cake my *** Charlie.
