Texas vs TCU game thread

The curse is the LHN. Ever since we signed that contract we have sucked. Deloss made a pact with the devil or it sure looks that way.

I saw Dodds speak about a dozen times in person. Every time. I mean every single time, he spoke at length about revenues. Even when he discussed Mack Brown, he talked about him in terms of value added, ticket and merchandise sales. And he was pretty smug about it all.

Texas football is an embarrassment, has been for years. Herman better get this **** together next year or I will post another harsh comment.

Watching this team against TCU has just been painful for years. If you love watching Texas score, this game has not been for you since 2013.

Leonard had a decent shot at catching that if he had turned around and jumped vertically, rather than facing the defender and jumping horizontally.

I suppose this is better than the Maryland game. First, TCU is ranked and second, the defense outside of first possession played well.

I tell ya what ... Boo played better under Charlie. I know the OLine issues ...but good grief. He's better than what was on the field tonight. I didn't think Texas was gonna win this game, but to be completely shut down was just embarrassing.

Well, this offensive line problem is clearly huge and it could take two more years to fix (meaning we have a year in and year out pipeline with established upper-classmen) EVEN if we recruit well and sign the best JUCO players out there.

Not surprised at all to hear you say that.

seems like I am the only person who understands that no team NONE would do well with third string offensive line, missing all-American lineman, and playing 2nd string QB. With the schedule we have played, Alabama, with 3rd string line would have fared no better.

I disagree. Saban would make adjustments getting more than 9 rushing yards and score more than 7 against this TCU defense.

Seven sacks. Shane just doesn't need to play with the line we have.
I could not disagree more. Sam would have been sacked, banged, and he would have turned the ball over. This offense is lame. No kicker, not able to run block or pass block.

Shane was not the issue.

No traditional screens, unable to run a bubble screen well. Less than 10 yards rushing! No draws. TCU ran a trick play to get their first TD. Where is our trick play?

I wonder if Patterson would have listened if he would have been called for an interview after Mack was let go? Patterson has outcoached us five years in a row.
