Texas vs TCU game thread

One thing I really like about Ehlinger is he'll throw the ball away. Boo takes the sack every time. That 2 yd sack cost us a 1st down. If they have an illegal substitution 3rd and 5 becomes a 1st down. How many sacks has Boo taken tonight where he could have just gotten rid of the ball. Gotta play smarter. Just so many mental mistakes.

Passes that are most often successful: RB screens and quick passes over the middle.

What we most often call: bombs, sideline passes, WR screens.

I've seen replay after replay today of quick slants going for long plays. The ESPN guys even commented on how successful they have been all this year across the nation. Maybe someone should secretly sugesst to Beck she should watch sports center tonight.

This is not right. There is a problem here. Much like the curse on the Lee or Kennedy families, the Longhorns are cursed. I think it is early for judgement for Herman, but up to now he has been pretty bad. He is supposed to be an offensively minded coach and this offense sucks. He should have tried to keep Applewhite.

I'm telling ya, he's spooked. Even when he had a minute in the pocket he had happy feet while I think he thought a sack was coming.

Between snapping early and running oob, TCU just stupidly saved us half a minute, time that I'm sure we'll make excellent and efficient use of.

I think if everyone here gets up early, goes to Mass, repents, plays bingo, and puts a pebble in their shoe, we run the table. :hookem:

Who's with me!?

You mean like Bruce Lee? Curse of the Dragon?

Anyway, the curse we had was the curse of bad upper management. Which was allowed to persist for way too long.
The curse is the LHN. Ever since we signed that contract we have sucked. Deloss made a pact with the devil or it sure looks that way.

Like that might be some huge mistake with our offense? Don't think Patterson is overly concerned about clock management. I wouldnt.
