I'm going to be laughing my face off at all of the mob when they have the special session to vote for SB5.

Empathy for all mothers married, unmarrierd, for great grandmothers all the way to those carrying. As I stated on this board before, we need to bite the bullet and come up with some form of national adoption and prenatal health program for women considering abortions and without the means to pay for themselves. A child should not be murdered (really, you could just stop this sentence here) because of the inconvenience of a 9 month pregnancy.

That said, here's what we learned. A mob of Texans who think it's perfectly fine to kill an innocent child with a brain, lungs, heart, and spinal cord, a minority, blocked a bill to protect said children (and their Constitutional rights) and improve the safety of women who decide to have abortions through rioting. This bill did not make it illegal to have an abortion. It makes it safer (abortions after 20 weeks are insanely dangerous to both the woman, and, of the course, the child of a botched abortion). To use President Obama's favorite catchphrase, this is "common sense."

You want to filibuster? Isn't that one of the reasons we hate politicians? Because they play these games? Fine filibuster (btw it was a woman, Senator Donna Campbell, who made the deciding objection that ended the filibuster). But the bill was stopped because of a mob of little children who threw a temper tantrum when they saw they couldn't get their way through the democratic process.

That's how the pro-choice crowd painted themselves to the decidedly Pro-Life State of Texas. They're going to vote on it again, it will pass, and I will be laughing at all of them...including: cmtsip, EasternHorn, mesohorny, biganakhanda, abghornfan, djimaplon. Pooor liberals.

Work address and telephone number? Ok. So you want me to call you and discuss the issue rather than do so on the board here? That way only you and I know what is discussed. Is that correct? That would accomplish what? What can you tell me over the phone that you can't say here?
 
Ok. Then you have nothing to say regarding the issue that is currently being discussed on this thread. No input or opinion as to why it is a victory for women to be allowed to kill the unborn? No response to the adoption waiting list? Just blind applause? Come on. You gotta have a reason for your support of the defeat of this bill.
 
Kill? Well according to those who claims life begins at conception, this would argue otherwise. I guess the victory in this case is that the woman got to do what she wanted to do to her body since fetuses are not human.
 
Don't ask me. Ask your lawmakers, your churches, the attorneys who claimed they are not. Or you tell me, since you seem to know more than I
