UPDATE -

Just want to let ya'll know that my wife and I drove out to the Hill Country and set our little puppy free. It was tough pushing her out of the car like that and leaving her on the side of the road, but it took a real man like me to do that.

Everything I've read says she'll be just fine if she can avoid larger animals that might want to eat her, find shelter and bag of puppy chow.

Goodbye little friend.

Actually, I lied.

Apparently there is nothing that one squirt from a spray bottle filled with water can't cure. She hates that damn thing.

Problem solved.

Sounds like the situation is resolving itself, but I just wanted to point out that "it's just a phase" is not a good reason or excuse for anything, ever.

I'm in the "not a good idea to piss of the neighbors" camp.

In the long run, this can be much worse than a barking dog.
