Dude, I was a Marine Infantryman. I informed my recruiter I wouldn’t join any other MOS.
Some of us didn’t want to sit at a desk and frankly as a 60 year old executive level soon to retire stoog, the Marines in my platoon were MUCH brighter than my companies leadership at Cummins Inc.

And Vol, don’t misread my tone here. No offense taken. I realize equating grunts to a low intelligence level is military tradition.

We can agree aggies are dumb though, right?

I understand and agree, but I didn't say all grunts are stupid. However, we both know that if you want to be in the military and you don't qualify for anything else you end up infantry. There are LOT of really unintelligent people in the infantry. Patriotic as hell and loyal to their death.
