I like to laugh at Aggy as much as anyone, but this slice of yell practice is almost too awful to even be funny.

Was there really no vetting mechanism at all for this event? Does anyone read this stuff before Cletus gets handed the microphone? A&M is a huge bazillion dollar public university for God's sake.
 
Aggie may be going more normal and mainstream these days with their diploma mill tactics and Texas turning into Berkeley, but videos like this make you realize the Aggie inside eventually comes out. Aggie video fails are an annual holiday we all look forward too.
 
I am truly shocked they are clueless enough to keep it up.
OR as someone on texags posted they really don't care what the country thinks of them

Talent-wise, A&M's band is pretty good. Not great, but good.
However, their shows and music are nothing special. The music isn't challenging, and the marching drill is similar to something my high school band did as a daily warm-up.

In other words, it's like watching a decent actor in a bad movie. Like the Star Wars prequels.

They brag about their "precision" marching. They're freaking march in straight lines, there's nothing special about it. When I was in the Army even the dumbest infantry guys could figure out how to do that. Put enough people on the field and it'll be loud and impressive sounding.

Dude, I was a Marine Infantryman. I informed my recruiter I wouldn’t join any other MOS.
Some of us didn’t want to sit at a desk and frankly as a 60 year old executive level soon to retire stoog, the Marines in my platoon were MUCH brighter than my companies leadership at Cummins Inc.

And Vol, don’t misread my tone here. No offense taken. I realize equating grunts to a low intelligence level is military tradition.
