Women tattoos

I realize that I am nearing the end of my fourth decade on this earth and times are always going to change. In my early days, tattoos were only found on ex-convicts, ex- military types, and people of real low esteem. Today, however, this practice brought to the Western World by adopting the paractices of savages, has crept into mainstream culture. I don't understand it, espiecially with women, beautiful women, gettin tattooed, defacing god's most beautiful creation with ankle roses and 'tramp stamps'. That is all.

Women are dirtier than they used to be.

As a dirty old man, that's a good thing.

As a father of a young daughter, that's a troubling thing.

I am rent assunder by the inner conflict.

it's not my thing, but i wouldn't go so far as to make assumptions about a woman, beautiful or otherwise, who gets inked.
all things being equal, i'd go for the girl without the tats, however.

i should add that "original" tattoos are at this point, somewhat refreshing. i get a kick out of the tribal art and the eastern philosophy stuff. it's just so played out.
for that matter, people with barbed wire and the other "band" type tats should be rounded up....

The only thing I wonder about is - what the hell is are set of boobs with tatoos on them going to look like when they're 60.

I never understood the women who get a tattoo simply because it was the cool thing to do.
If you're going to get a tattoo at least get something meaningful.
And I don't mean a ******* butterfly or a fairy on your ankle...
On the other hand, tramp stamps make for good target practice.

Actually, we aren't the first generation to go through this trend.

It was popular among the upper class in the late 19th century, as well, before falling out of favor (which I pray it will soon do here, as well).

In fact, it has been widely publicized, though I have no confirmation, that Winston Churchill's mother had a tattoo of a snake around her wrist.

I am generally anti-tat, but I have said on multiple occasions that I will get a Longhorn tattoo when the Horns win the NC in basketball.

Don't know that I'll ever be getting one!

I don't know that I'd ever get a tattoo (never found anything I'd want on my body for the rest of my life), but tattoos can enhance a woman's beauty, just as they can detract.

totally agree about the "trendy" tattoos that are surely going to help the tattoo removal industry skyrocket, but if a woman really wants to get a tattoo and feels it's significant to her, then who am I (or you) to say she shouldn't, or that it's detracting from her beauty?

take that girl, carly, from american idol. she was attractive before she got a sleeve of tattoos...but after, to me, she was way hotter. it also shows a level of self-confidence/strength that's very sexy.

one other note: sorry, but stuff like "defacing god's most beautiful creation" just comes across as awfully sexist and presumes that women's bodies are simply there to be stared at or ogled. its her body, let her do what she likes with it. if you don't like it, well, I'm sure there are plenty of other "beautiful creations" to stare at.

That begs the question " WHy would a women who had a dragon tattooed on her calf wear shorts if she didn't want to show it off " and be oogled?

I have a tattoo, and have had it for over a decade now. Very few close friends are the only ones who know I have it (counting my wife among that group). My parents don't even know. It is very personal to me, and I got it for myself and not for others to see. So while many people I am sure get tats for others so see, I would argue that at least some get them for personal reasons which don't include being shown around.

Not everyone who gets ink'd does it for "showing off." Some get it b/c it's meaningful to them and in a discreet place.

I dig the ink on women. As long as it's not tacky, etc..

Tattoos are alright by me, however I'm not getting one. There isn't anything that I can think of that I want to be stuck with for the rest of my life inked onto my body. And if I did get one, you would never see it.

I have got 5 so I can't really say ****. However I have begged my girlfriend not to even think about getting one because I find them rather trashy on girls. If I could go back in time I would get rid of at least one maybe two of them. By the way I already have my longhorn thanks to a day of coronas and a 70-3 *** whipping in the big 12 championship game.

I like girls with a lot of tats or none. One or two really funny unique ones are okay, too. A tramp stamp or ankle tat just seems lame to me. Go listen to Chris Daughtry with that.

I don't want anything permanently imprinted on my skin. I will never get a tattoo.

I'll date and have sex with women who have tattoos but I seriously doubt that I would get into a long-term relationship with someone who has a tattoo.

I just don't want to see that sagging 80 year old tattoo on a certain part of the body. Keep your body clean.
