Why Does This Appear to be a Black Problem?

I think I heard this morning that Zimmerman was working on a criminal justice degree. If so, he may understand that law better than the cop.

So, if a person is following and watching someone in his own gated community and then the person that he is watching assaults him and he is in fear of his life, he should just lay there and possibly be beaten to death ?

I said in an earlier post that we need to let the investigation take place. It seems as this unfolds, there is a witness that saw Trayvon on top of Zimmerman beating him and Zimmerman was calling out for help. There are reports now surfacing that Zimmerman had a broken nose, grass stains on his back and a gash on his head. Some people on this board seem to think Zimmerman deserved to be assaulted for following and watching a person in his own gated community because the police told him not to follow. Not so.
If, in fact, Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman beating him , then Zimmerman does have the right to defend his life. Like it or not.
Again, I intially could not understand shooting a 17 year old and thought Zimmerman should be castrated and executed. Not so much any more.

The investigation needs to continue as there is still not enough information on the incident and I will not comment until the Feds finish an investigation.

I disagree. It is perfectly ok for a resident in a gated community to follow and watch an unknown person, regardless of police instructions(which are given for the protection of the resident, not the suspect).
