Who wins today's games?

Tennessee's schedule will pay dividends Tuesday night. They played on Stanford's floor and lost in overtime on a long road trip. But Stanford is playing its best ball of the year and this should be a great game.

It should be interesting to see what sort of game plan Summitt has to slow down the Cardinal offense. I would have Auguste follow Wiggens all over the floor since here length and speed could present a problem for Wiggens. I would have Anosike push on Appel and try to move her off the block and put Parker on Pedersen to limit her three point opportunities. Pedersen is not quite quick enough to drive past Parker and Parker's length should prevent Pedersen from getting her shot off.

Joe, I wasn't attacking you. Candace, in my opinion, took too many shots last night especially with her injury. If she were 100%, she can knock down perimeter shots. She's the most versatile player in college basketball now and probably in the history of the game.

Stanford has to feel great about their chances this evening. They have been rolling on all cylinders since the Pac-10 tournament. Hornbuckle has to step it up against Stanford. Two points is not going to get it done.

Actually I just thought about it....I think the game being sloppy had a lot to do with the officiating.

I've never been a fan of the "let them play" mentality. It seems like when this happens the game quickly devolves from not calling the "ticky tack" stuff to not calling much at all. I wish that the refs would stick to the "book" and cut out some of the physicality of the game. Seems like that in itself is what makes it harder for an outsider to WBB to watch.
