We're definitely a very good team, but we folded terribly vs TCU at home a couple of years ago, folded against the Huskies last year, and folded against the Dawgs last week. I'm afraid we may still be a small step behind for a MNC.

On paper we're much better than Vandy, but I know they're going to bring the heat on Ewers. Hopefully he's ready this time. Still pondering my prediction.

I stayed away from all the talk shows this week to avoid all the negative talk. I am back and our Horns are going to bounce back today.

I wondered that too. I always thought Rice was the nerds. Vandy is more the uppity country club type. I've met a few that thought they were too good to talk to me, but none were nerds. I had a Vandy guy in my MBA class and he was wealthy guy, but not nerdy or uppity.

If you take the Engineering and Science schools at UT I'm sure there's a lot more nerds than Vandy.

I was using Nerds in a generic way since you probably have to be pretty smart to get into Vandy and how nerds are always picked on. Vandy probably gets picked on in regards to football but not this year. Hence the reference to Revenge of the Nerds.
