Smoking gun? I suspect that this happened a play or two before the oblique injury in the UTSA game. In fact, maybe he was tweaking his body because of the hand injury and overstressed his abdomen. While that may be a stretch, who knows?

BTW, I stopped the replay after his interception on the first series last Saturday to get this picture.

Carson Beck will be the first legit QB we've played. I believe our D will show their shortcomings vs the Dawgs. I'm not sold on that unit just yet. My gut tells me we lose this game. But I ain't putting that prediction on this site in writing, so:
