Week 4: Prediction Thread for Texas vs Texas Tech...Guns Up! Pew Pew

-5 Texas

DeRuyter has yet to live up to his lofty expectations, but Kittley scares me to death. I think he will be the best offensive mind we face this year.

If Patterson makes the trip and is on the sideline:

Texas 45
Tech 17

If Patterson stays home:

Texas 48
Tech 45

I think the key will be Card not turning the ball over. Limit INTs, and keep the chains moving. If he extends the field, bonus!

Obviously Sark doesn't trust him, so playbook may be limited, unless he was holding back vs UTSA. Defense can definitely hold them, if again, we protect the football.

Depends on who starts at QB...and depends on Dem0s status. I have them impacting my personal spread about 14+ points together.
Ill wait until later in week and see if I can get a read on their availability.
My guess is Demo is cleared to start and QE3 dresses for emergency use only.
On second thought, I'd better go ahead and pick for now in case I forget to come back lol

UT 30
TTU 20

Patterson is being paid very well to help the entire season. Why would he not be expected to be in the Jones / ATT pressbox for the tech game, at a minimum??

If Patterson is not present in pressbox or sidelines, my concern for this game grows a great deal...

Digging a bit deeper here....
Looks like TTU has some real offensive line concerns.
Unless rectified in the next 4 days, do not think that will bode well against our rejuvenated D....all the more if Dem0 is present.

Unfortunately that's what we thought about UTSA as well...it certainly took a while to get moving.

Fair, but UTSA was running catch and throw slants and stops for the first half against a soft zone, so high school Oline can protect for less than a second
