A player can appear in four games and not lose his RS, so unless we have more than four more games – which can only happen if we make a CFP appearance — Arch cannot lose his RS.I don't think the redshirt is even an issue at this point with anyone on this team who hasn't yet played. It's not like the old days where one play counts as eligibility. Arch could start the TCU game, play it's entirety and still get a redshirt year. My guess is he's not ready. As much as some on here question Sark, I don't. He sees him every day. He's been a player or coach for, I don't know 30 years. He's not perfect, but I don't think he's an idiot either. Sark wants to win. He puts the players on the field who he thinks gives us the best chance.
Therefore all must include Catalon. Would really help if he can go.Sark stated that Quinn is now "day to day" as opposed to "week to week" previously. He also stated that all players practiced today. He said that doesn't mean they will play, but it's a positive nevertheless.
I recall someone posted that Catalon practiced last week too for the first time. Therefore all must include Catalon. Would really help if he can go.
I rather not have Quinn if it means re-injury. There's still 2 really tough regular season games after this weekend and who knows, it could be snowing in Ames.
IMO though Arch needs to see the field this year. He needs to get a feel for the college game “before” he has to try and save one.
He specifically mentioned that both Catalon and Crawford practiced. Therefore all must include Catalon. Would really help if he can go.
