Week 10 Prediction Thread: Texas vs TCU...Me So Horny

Very surprised to see us open at Circa as -7. On multiple levels...first that we are favored and secondly by a full touchdown. This morning, Texas is still -7 while TCU is getting the hook (+7.5). O/U sits at 64.5.

Just please, someone, promise me this won't be a UH/SMU track meet like their game was (a very basketball-esque 77-63 win for SMU).

Predictions later in the week...

Oh, and for those who want education...Texas is +190 to win the Big 12 championship game and the cockroaches are +120. There is an argument to be made that, if you believe Texas wins THIS game, it may be worth finding funds to go with the prop bet. A Texas win still leaves them one game back, BUT...just an idea.

Because it has now appears that Sark is happy with getting a big lead and then letting the other team score like crazy in the second half. It will be necessary to score over 40 to win.
Texas ~ 42
purple frogs ~ 35

Struggling with this prediction...

If Patterson has a good game plan to largely keep Duggan away from outside scrambles and Horns score more than 3 points in the second half:

Horns O' Plenty 44
Hotty Toadies 38

QE, BR and Worthy are the O heroes... O man is D MVP!

TEXAS FIGHT !!! :hookem:

This is all TCU will have left at their disposal:
As a last resort, horned lizards may use one final defense mechanism that's particularly effective against predators like bobcats, wolves, and coyotes. They shoot blood from their eye sockets! This usually frightens predators enough to make them flee.
BEVO and his fellow Longhorns won’t be fleeing from anyone or anything!!

I had read Patterson was sitting out this dance.
But DKR will be rocking at night.
Bring Whiskey or a Defibrillator or both.
Texas 40
Purple Baylor-38

Purple Fake Christians - 45
My beloved Longhorns- 34

I just think it's TCUs year. And after throwing my hat of support in for Coach PK on another thread, I fully expect that will cause our D to get smoked on Saturday.

I like it!

I like the Horns too
48-27

A raucous crowd, and TCU is ready to give one up.

Patterson better not be sitting this one out! We need his accoustic guitar for this one!

I think we will have a great first half after weathering a couple of weird Ewers passes in our first drive. Our defense will be hyped up but hopefully they've been coached up a bit about how to run zone coverage. The second half, if we hold to form will be white knuckle time. We can't fumble the ball. We can't stubbornly call pitch-outs on 3rd down to the short side of the field. We can't pack it in early and hold on for dear life if we jump on them early. We need all our field goals to hit.

So....

Longhorns 38
TCU 35

My prediction on another thread for the Horns final 4 games was 3-1 with TCU being the Horns loss. While my heart screams Horns, my head still says frogs.
Frog Coach Dykes is getting the best from his team--both offense and defense. The frogs are rolling with great momentum and playing much better than anyone thought they could. And they play as well in the second half as they do in the first.

Frogs 41
Horns 34

Hope like hell I'm wrong.

This might be the biggest game that this program has had since the 2009 National Championship game. If we win, the recruits will likely pour in and this program is launched to the moon again. :hookem:

There’s altogether a disincentive for officials to be unbiased towards Texas. It’s not paranoia when they really are out to get us. The Big 12 administration wants TCU in the playoff. IMO there’s too much money in College Football for it not to be somewhat crooked. This is the most important game since 2009, our recruiting will skyrocket if we win. That’s why this is the perfect time to knock us down a notch. Look for noncalls or penalties on drives when we need it the most.
TCU 38. Texas 31

You're probably right. Bama got away with several blatant fouls that even the announcers couldnt ignore. No reason B12 refs won't do the same.
