Alright, we are back home where we play extremely better for some reason. Let's finish strong this week against a horny opponent...

The early lines have the Horns - 6 and the O/U 66 at Covers. They have several betting sights that show their odds. MB 227 Fixed it for you.:hookem:

Game Day is coming and Austin will be hoppin. TCU is really good at home but we dont yet know about them as road warriors beyond a win in Lawrence that I am not ready to say is more than you beat a KU team on road that will probably finish 7-5 or 6-6, their wins over OU, OSU and K-State were at home and their OOC was a joke. Duggan is for real and Sonny Dykes is a good coach but I can see the Frogs losing in Austin and Waco in their two toughest road games of the season. For now lets just see them lose in Austin.

Texas 38
TCU 31

We jump on them early but score two times in second half. Hold on for dear life. First big night game of the season and DKR will be rocking.

Is this TCU team that good, or good plus fortunate? Destined? I hope not. Hard to handicap.

Duggan is the best QB we will have faced IMO, after BY of Bama. The challenge will be to contain him, keep him one dimensional, and avoid the devastating scrambles.

I think that Ewers continues to evolve, as does the D.

Texas 41
TCU 27

No 4th quarter drama this time.

Great opportunity to knock Frogs off and gain more respect by beating #4...

Horns 45
Little toadies.....24

BR good for 155 rush yds + 1 td; 2 recepts 37 yds 1 td
Ewers....253
RJ......68...1 td
X....5 rec for 69 + 2 td's
JW...6 for 70....1 td
JtS....5 for 68 and 1 td
Helm 2 for 16 and 1 td

Auburn 1 for 3 at 41 yds

Hhmm...
TCU and Dykes has a penchant for great second half adjustments and we have a penchant for the opposite...
OK, sure..why not??

Horns 41

Having a Frog wife and FIL, I see all the TCU games. Our biggest advantage Saturday will be... "In The Shoe DKR. At night."

TEXAS - 42
TCU - 41
(In overtime)

Horns are improving every game - and this is a huge chance to get some cred. Offenses will go wild in this one - but I like the home field advantage.

Texas 48
TCU 45

I'm going with TCU over UT 48-35, our secondary is going to get torched by another heisman candidate. ......same prediction I had for KSU yet we won and will gladly eat crow again, not jinxing this. :smokin:

I don't know what to make of us. We score 31 in a half, but almost nothing in the second half. If the other team is inspired, we tighten up and fold. Are we so good we can score over 30, or so bad we choke away big leads? I guess we're both. Of course the heart wants to pick us to win, but I think Duggan will torch us big time. My head says we lose

TCU 38
UT 27

Hope I'm wrong.

Problem is in all likelihood Texas will have a lead at one point in the game, can they make that stand-up? More evidence no than yes.

I remember sitting in the rain at DKR during Thanksgiving several years ago and watching Texss implode at just the sight of an inferior TCU team.

One last time:

Texas 45
TCU 42
