I'll offer congratulations. My best friend and I both went to Texas, and his daughter is a junior at A&M. Happy for her. She played basketball at Austin High, just a little, enough to appreciate the game.

I would have been totally bummed if Notre Dame (

) had taken that game, and I was totally elated the Aggie ladies won it.

Just saying... but Baylor has a title... and now A&M has a title. Meanwhile our coach here has been struggling to get very far in both conference and NCAA tournament play. Not sure what the issues are on that.

The ESPN team said that A&M was the most connected bunch in the tournament. And Notre Dame was playing practically a home game. It took, what, about 60 percent shooting to take that game! Amazing.
