If Biden loses, Harris will never be relevant again as a Presidential candidate. If Trump loses, I think Pence will be. I think his performance was outstanding.

This is completely apart from whatever effect it had on the Trump/Biden race.

@mchammer , do you think I watched this live? It was 3 or 4 in the morning here when it was on. I only did that back in 2011 when the Texas Rangers were in the World Series, and that was before Deez, Jr. was born and it didn't matter if I slept until noon. I'm not doing that for a political debate when I have to be up at 6:30. I'll read the comments here this morning and watch tonight - with booze. I hope I don't need quite as much.

Independents know Biden will not make it through one term. Republicans know Biden won’t make it through one year. That debate mattered and Pence won. Harris is more unlikeable than Hillary.
 
Only watched the first half hour or so, did Harris ever actually answer any question that was asked of her? While I was watching she turned every question into an excuse to talk about how she was the first woman this or that or the first woman of color to do whatever. On the other hand Pence was being too polite, congratulating her for this or that.

Trump and the RNC should stop granting interviews or allowing reporters at press conferences from CNN, NBC/MSNBC, CBS or ABC. They are pure propaganda at this point.

Additionally, someone needs to investigate the debate commission. Given how the debates are handled and how they just changed the format, no way they are not biased to the left.
