In addition to the accidents I would like to wet my pants from excitement so could you guys decode some of this stuff.
 
Per HornSports:
1. This week the Texas program put out this video highlighting the accomplishments of Charlie Strong's inaugural recruiting class. It lit the fuse and got the recruits incoming very excited about the visit weekend. That primed everyone before Texas unleashed a social media campaign we didn't know they had in their deck.

2. The social media campaign has been building over the last few weeks with several of the current players vocally recruiting on twitter for the Longhorns. Today they kicked it up a notch by introducing everyone to the hashtag #Believe. **(Way to many tweets to copy and paste by coaches, players, moms, yes I said MOMS)**

3. Texas strategically planned this weekend with these big names in an effort to create an exciting environment and get the ball rolling. They even added the spice of two mystery recruits when Marcel Southall and Isaiah Chambers made it in. It was a gamble to wait this long but it was extremely calculated. Texas knew they'd get one shot to get their big targets on campus and fire all the cannons. It's what you have to do coming off of a 5-7 season, but the Texas staff is recruiting in a way we haven't seen.

So with all that said I'll tell you a couple of things I'm hearing.

1. Texas got a silent commit today. It may not be announced for a bit but he's in the bag.

2. Reggie Hemphill tweeted that another was committed and I've spoken to one source who indicated a name that would be a gigantic win for Texas. I'm still working on more confirmation here.

3. There's some thought we could see a tidal wave of momentum from this weekend and if so we will look back at this as the moment that cemented a pretty stellar 2016 class. It's early and the excitement is flowing, but my phone is lighting up in a way it hasn't since the day Malik committed. It's times like these that make this job really fun. Stay tuned...

Morning Update: Did some checking around and had a 3rd source confirm the big commitment I referenced last night. I don't know when it will be announced but the guys on campus know about it.

I heard a wild rumor this morning about a 3rd guy, but I'm going to need a lot more confirmation before I run with it. I'll be chasing stuff all day.
 
@Godz40acres — please keep the updates flowing as best you can, the troops require regular doses of recruiting intel.

I trust that your secure undisclosed location is well-appointed with the supplies necessary to continue the grueling recruiting news effort. If not we can dispatch the Hornfans Unmarked Suburban with all necessities to maintain operations.

OK. Just in case will be using Depends today and keeping the Cuffee pot hot. Hope it is the most exciting day of the year. Nothing on the agenda today but Hornfans posts so keep them coming even if they are just rumors.

Could someone have found a way to get one of those guys miked up?

At least there does not seem to be a Murray repeat this year.

Recruits are now visiting the football facilities and taking some academic tours - will continue until around 1 pm.
 
According to a poster on another site (he's good, but not always accurate):
There are now 4 silent commits. They won't be silent long. Committed and will be announcing soon. One of them was set to do so on the 30th I think, but that's probably going to be today or tomorrow now.
 
Per HornSports concerning the 4 silent commits:

I've got 3 I know of for sure. One of the rumors I heard this morning on the other was blown to pieces by a few different sources. One should go down within the next day or so.
