A new game and another new link is needed and here it is.

It seems the other was just for the first game. This one is up and running and the game will start in about 15 minutes.

The OSU radio pregame is on now with the game to follow.
 
Johnson leads off for the Horns again and K's swinging for out one.

Hall lays down a bunt the pitcher field and throws low and the first baseman can't make the play and he reaches on the error.

OSU wants runner's interference but to no avail.

Weis K's swinging for out two.

Payton up and flies out to left to end the inning.

OSU coming to bat with no score.
 
Thornhill gets the first out on a fly ball.

A single and double has runners on second and third.

A swinging K is out two.

Now a walk loads the bases.

After a very questionable non called strike three the batter grounds a ball past Weis that scores two and it's called an error.

OSU again off to a early lead 2-0.

Now another double down the right field line scores two more to make it 4-0.

A grounder to first finally ends the inning.

OSU leads 4-0 on four unearned runs.
 
Silver with a good at bat walks on a full count pitch.

Montalbano up as we try to battle back after the bad first inning.

He lines out to right field for out one.

Felts singles up the middle to put two on and here comes the OSU pitching coach.

Once again getting runners on and we got to score them this game to have any chance.

Pitcher stays in and here is Marlow and he pops out on the first pitch to left.

Johnson needing a clutch hit to get this game closer flies out to the track in right center and it looks like game one still stranding runners.

OSU leads 4-1 to the bottom of two.
 
Really hope this isnt turning into one of those lost Saturdays of the type that doomed this team last year.
 
Thornhill gets out one on an attempted bunt for a hit that Felts makes a good play on 2-3.

Marlow fields a ball up the middle and gets his man by an eyelash with another nice play for out two.

Swinging K ends the inning.

OSU leads 4-1 after two innings.
 
Hall leads off and pops out to third.

Weis singles sharply up the middle to put another man on.

Payton.singles to left and here we go again.

Hinojosa up with two on at first and second.

He can't get the bunt down and then reaches out and flairs a single to right. The right fielder boots it and Wies scores on the error as he had held up.

Silver flies out to center and Montalbano to right to end the inning.

To the bottom of three now OSU leads 4-2.
 
Thornhill back on the mound gets a swinging K for out one.

Fly ball to right for out two.

A ground ball to Marlow at second sends down OSU in the third.

They lead still 4-2 after three complete.
 
Let's go this inning, boys. Marlow at the plate and apparently the pokes have an E on the pitcher to set 'em up with runners at 1 & 2 with Big Ben up to bat.
 
Felts leads off and singles sharply up the middle for yet another runner.

We just got to bust through and put a crooked number up which which we hadn't been able to do today despite all the traffic we have had on the bases.

Marlow bunts for the sac, but the pitcher can't pick it up and there is another error, they gave him a hit, but trust me it wasn't.

Johnson up and he may bunt too.
He gets it down too hard, but the pitcher doesn't go to third as he may still be shook by the last bunt.

Runners on second and third now.

Hall with a chance to cut into the lead with less than two out
He does put it in play and the ground out to short scores Felts and it's 4-3 now.

Weis up and hits it hard, but to the deepest part of the ballpark
in center where it is caught just short of the track to end the inning. So close, but again so far away.

OSU now leads 4-3 to the bottom of the fourth.

That's better than last game. Traded an out for a run scored with Felts plating.

3-4 good guys.

OK, the guy with Craig is going to need to change that nonsense. LONG FLY BALL TO LEFT. Left fielder is back and makes the catch. Not cool.
 
Thornhill settling down get a quick out one on a fly ball.

Now a walk and a passed ball puts him on second.

Liner to the gap in right center for a double makes it 5-3 now.
 
Thornhill gets a swinging K for out two with a runner on second.

Marlow ranges into the hole on the right side and throws out the batter to end the inning.

OSU now leads 5-3 after four.
 
There you go, Alex! Runners on 1 and 2 with only one out. Have had base runners on in every inning so let's get something going THIS inning.

Big Bat Monty up to bat!

Hinojosa walks and brings the tying run to the plate.

Silver singles to left to put the tying runs on at first and second.

Montalbano up and here comes the OSU pitching coach to the hill and the change is made.

Felts flies out to center and we strand more runners.

To the bottom of five now OSU leads 5-3.
 
Thornhill back on the mound and the lead off man pops a little single to left.

Hinojosa catches a liner at short and then doubles off the runner for a 6U-3 double play. A very close play at first.

A swinging K ends the inning.

OSU leads 5-3 after five innings.
 
Marlow leads off and K's swinging.

Johnson does the same for two away.

Hall flies out to right to end the inning.

To the bottom of six now OSU leads 5-3.
 
Thornhill still pitching gets a pop up to short for the first out.

A K this time looking for out two.

Ground ball to short is out three.

After six completed OSU leads 5-3.
