Wow, Destinee Hooker had 25 kills against the second best team in the world (previously ranked #1 for three or four years, Brazil). And they are saying she has vastly improved defensively, and is not just a high-jumping hitter anymore. She is fun to watch!

So the Women's Volleyball Final is Saturday about noon, NBC in it's infinite wisdom is going to show Rhythmic Gymnastics and save the Volleyball match to prime time.

Well they just lost a viewer, I would have watched it at noon, but I will know the final score by Saturday night and will not be watching. Good job NBC.......

I am not sure and please correct me but I think NBC broadcast the Athens game but whoever did it made a big mistake when they broadcast the Women's softball gold medal game between the USA and Japan. The game ended late and they just dropped it in the last inning making us miss a good defense play by the USA and the USA making the winning run.

It would have been like TV dropping the 2006 Rose Bowl with 2 1/2 minutes left in the game.

While the goal was gold, silver isn't too bad. Congratulations to the US Women's Volleyball team and our Longhorn, Destinee Hooker!!

It was disappointing learning about the results of the game over Twitter, not a fan of NBC.
