US sniper guilty of Iraqi murder

Wow.

Sheltered much.

Sounds verbatim from a socialist Prof I once had a class with. He had never experienced anything beyond his parent's house and college frat either. But he was just as opinionated as you.

all you can do is personal attack and fall back on your love of violence which is the only thing you understand. fyi, I am not socialist and anti-communist, for a free market economy and lower taxes. However, in the face of imperialist aggression, go with the ones defending their homeland be they Islamists, socialists, communists or what have you. So you were wrong about my political tendencies.

the US military should be very careful in who they kill since they are supposedly there to benefit Iraqi civilians.

I hope you one day thank our men and women who serve our country, 98. They are the reason you continue to have the freedom to question the government like you do.

I'll throw out a cliche and alter it a little.

"While they do not agree with what you say, they will fight to the death for your right to say it."

You :"I am arguing with those who think there shouldn't be consequences for a soldier who makes a split second decision to kill a civilian. "
I think I see your error. Soldiers don't make the decision to kill a civilian. They make trhe decision in a spli second to kill someone they feel is going to kill them, other troops or even other civilians. They make the decision to prevent somone from killing one or many.

Your mistake is in thinking the insurgents killing our soldiers are brave freedom fighters fighting for their homeland. Pay Attention, the people doing the killing are not defending anything, in the vast majority of cases they are not iraquis. They are killing our troops and iraqi civilians.
XP explain to me what homeland someone who is a suicide bomber is defendinjg when that murderer kills him/herself while killing innocents including children?
Defending a homeland. BS
