This post is dated. It spoke to Elon and friends possibly owning up to 30-40% of the company via stock purchases. At those levels, the company can be declared privately-controlled by the SEC and stock is no longer traded on a public exchange like NASDAQ. Since that would make Elon’s 15% share essentially illiquid, I surmised he would likely not pursue this path.

There is more than one way to basically own a company than 100% ownership. In fact, most sports franchises operate in this fashion instead of a single owner or being publicly traded.

Uh, you do realize if 3 people own 40% of the stock, the owners of the remaining 60% are at the whims of 3 people controlling the stock price? Let’s just say the SEC is not going to let that happen on their watch.

Actually, the control is vested in the Board of Directors. Only if the Board is controlled by the 40% will those owning the minority of the shares exert any control. That is possible, but only if the shareholders owning 60% allow that to happen.
 
Twitter's chief censer Vijaya Gadde (killed the Hunter Biden story) has been shitcanned by Elon Musk. Rarely have I seen a more deserving termination.

Gadde was officially General Counsel.

She was also one of the people who refused to let the males in make-up be called males. Lots of people serving bans and suspensions for knowing AND VOICING that #SexMatters.

I did note that the Babylon Bee has been released from purgatory.
 
The Bee is back but they haven't put anything new out yet. There are also many more who have been banned who haven't been reinstated. Also, the algorithm used to censor is still up and running.

I am not complaining. I know this will all take time. But I will be watching to see what actually happens over the next month.

I suspect a lot of reinstatements happened last night...after all, even Kanye West's account is active again.
