Tulsi Gabbard

she had voters?
I've long voted in Dem primaries, not so much for POTUS candidates but because so many crappy candidates are hiding there in the judicial races. So, I do what I can to try and help at least get a qualified candidate onto the ballot...especially critical given the jurisdictions where one party might not even RUN anyone for the position.

For 2020, I would have been inclined to cast a primary ballot for Tulsi...basically the best of the worst. She did also represent one of the very few left-of-center candidates I have ever given money to. Before Tulsi, the last one I really recall was Debra Danburg (Houston peeps may remember her).

I sent the Tulsi campaign a letter letting them know that they had lost the vote and, oh, don't expect any more funds from me.

>>I may not agree with what you say, but I will put my life on the line to protect your right to say it. <<

In my 4 years of active military service I never once heard any active member say this line. Not once. Yet, somehow, it's become quite popular to a small # of Vets years after service

I need to watch my words, but I do get SICK to my stomach when politicians use the line. It's almost a shield they use , or use it to gain some higher ground than those that don't agree w/ said politicians' position... What would be a politically correct argument reply, now that you've used the "I put my life on the line" comment. That's what a snake does.

As far as I'm concerned, our service was something we did out of commitment. Not so we can beat people over the head with it later on. It applies to politicians, educators, business people alike.

I appreciate everyone's service, most of us do. But once we leave, it's time to serve in another capacity. Don't use the "I may not agree with what you say, but I will put my life on the line to protect your right to say it" nonsense. My dad was wounded in Saipan and Tinian (both) never once did he spout that nonsense and would have likely had a conversation with those who currently do.

Off the soapbox now

The CIA, errrr the NYT, smears her

What, Exactly, Is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?
As she injects chaos into the 2020 Democratic primary by accusing her own party of “rigging” the election, an array of alt-right internet stars, white nationalists and Russians have praised her.

Wow, not putting our thumbs on the scale of fairness THERE, are we?

I didn't watch much of the debate last night but DID see that segment...she did well putting Fauxchahontas and Mayor Pete on the spot...

Tulsi was the only candidate I could listen to. I disagree with her on most issues, but she at least comes across as thoughtful. Also, she is easy on the eyes.

I came to this topic to say the same thing. She’s the only one that doesn’t come across as an idiot.

Hillary accuses Tulsi of being a Russian asset
Along with Jill Stein

Yep - the more the progressives blabber on their idiotic ideas, the more likely the SENSIBLE members of the electorate will realize what idiots the progressives really are.

Fixed that for ya ;)

After all, you still have plenty of idiots running with scissors that actually believe the left-tards make sense...

Democratic nomination

dudes ... it's the DEMOCRAT nomination. They are selecting their nominee, not comprising the government. English is a thing. Sorry if the Republican nominee is also the Republican form of government.

Gabbard is just another leftist nutcase who sounds/looks better than all of the current DEMOCRAT candidates.

Blows my mind how a veteran can promote such unConstitutional proposals. But they ARE out there. (dual focus meaning)

As usual, Hillary is making ridiculous and paranoid conspiracy charges against her political rivals. But I must admit, the fact that Musburger started a positive thread on Tulsi back in Feb did give me pause. Lmao

I think the media and democrats take their cues from each other and then run with it. So Hillary mentions Tulsi is in with the Russians and now the media is going with it. What’s about to happen is this will have to stop when they find out Hillary has dementia.

She's on Hannity and can't say whether or not it concerns her that Hunter Biden earned, scratch that...was given, all that money from Ukraine and China while his dad was VP. She couldn't and wouldn't answer. Tried to dodge, tried to say there are plenty of examples, he cut her off and said answer whether it concerns her and she wouldn't.
